Pretty Little Liars: Perfect (Book 3)

   I know I haven't posted in a while, but I'm back baby!  I'm on the fifth book now, but I forgot to post about the third and fourth books.  Haha.  So, here it is!  

   Aria Montgomery has been living in the happy, ordinary, Montgomery family lifestyle.  At least. . .that's how it looks on the outside.  Truth is, Aria has been helping her father hide a huge secret from her mother and brother for three years.  Then, when Ella (Aria's mom) finds out, she doesn't talk to Aria for days.  Wanna know what the secret is?  Well, you're gonna have to read the book!

   Now, onto Hanna.  Sweet, popular Hanna.  Mona, her best friend, or at least that's how it seems, is having her big Sweet Seventeen this week!  But, when Hanna shows up, uninvited, she is humiliated by Mona.  Then, Lucas comes to her rescue.  She spends the rest of the night with him, then another text from "A".  But this time, it's not an unknown number.  It's a number she recognizes.  She calls up everyone, and has them meet her, but she gets. . .let's just say, "stalled", by A.

   Emily.  Typical Rosewood girl.  Or, so it seems.  Maya and Emily have been together for a while.  Until, "A" reveals their relationship publicly.  Her parents then force her into a program called "Tree Tops" to help "cure" her homosexuality.  Poor Emily.  Not knowing where to turn, or where to hide.

   And last, but not least. . .Spencer.  Always wanting to live up, or past, her sister's achievements.  But now, all of that is gonna be put behind. . .for now.  Spencer remembers something from the night that her friend, Alison, died that she never remembered before.  And this could put Spencer, in some life-threatening situations.

   These Pretty Little Liars always have something to hide.  Then again, who doesn't?

Pretty Little Liars: Flawless (Book 2)

   This book is only the second on the (for now) 8 book series called, Pretty Little Liars.
   Book 2 continues to follow the 4 girls, Spencer Hastings, Aria Montgomery, Emily Fields, and Hanna Marin throughout their lives, but now, they have reunited as friends.  Toby and Jenna Cavanaugh (Step-Siblings) have returned from "Places" and it has brought a big suprise to the girls.  But, they now suspect that Toby, may be "A"-a "someone" that has sent them threatening and scary messages with secrets that only their friend Ali knew!
   There is another secret behind the Cavanaugh's....Jenna is blind.  Sure, you might say that it's no big deal and that a lot of other people get blinded too....but you don't know how Jenna got blinded.  I will not tell you on here, that is something that the books are made for!  Go and pick up a copy!  (Cover Shown)

Pretty Little Liars (Book 1)

   I know that I haven't been blogging recently, but LayLay K is back baby!  And, with lots more of reviews!  Okay, so here it goes.  I have read this book series called 'Pretty Little Liars'.  As some of you might know, it is also a TV series too.  I have finished books 1 and 2, so I will review them, one by one.

   The first Pretty Little Liars book is focused on 4 girls-Spencer Hastings, Hanna Marin, Aria Montgomery, and Emily Fields, who have, 3 years ago, lost their friend, Ali, to a disappearance.  The girls have not spoken since.  

   Now, 3 years later, Ali is still missing, and Aria has just returned from her 3-year-long stay in Iceland.  The book follows each girl around each of their lives until, finally, they are reunited by a, um, well I don't want to ruin the book for you by typing too much.  So, go and pick up a copy at your local book store!  (Cover Shown)

Let Me In

Just to inform you that I am writing this as I am watching the movie.  I rented 'Let Me In' on DVD and am in the near middle.  So far, 12 year old Owen meets 12 year old Abby when she and her father move into his apartment complex next door to him, and his mother in the early 1980's.  Owen's parents are going through a divorce and all he wants is a friend to stick close by him.  When they first meet, Abby quickly announces that they cannot be friends when they formally meet on the playground.  Owen develops a puzzled reminder of Abby, until they meet once again the next night in the same place.  Owen is bullied in school and does not tell his mother about it because the bullies threaten him if he does so.  Killings are taken place in his small town in New Mexico, and one of his classmates is a victim.  Throughout the movie secrets are revealed, rumors are released, and blood goes a flinging!  I cannot tell you anymore because I don't want to spoil it for you, but a warning-if you do not like gory movies, this is not the one for you.  The trailer is below.  Thank you for reading.
